Description
In reimagining Chinachem Group’s Hong Kong headquarters, the design breaks away from conventional office planning to embody the client’s forward-thinking vision. Instead of placing the main reception at the office floor, the journey begins at ground level, where a warm, welcoming space greets clients the moment they arrive — creating a lasting first impression that aligns with the brand’s human-centric values. At the heart of the design is a custom-designed interconnecting staircase that links all four office floors. This vertical connection not only becomes a sculptural focal point, but more importantly, encourages spontaneous communication and cross-departmental collaboration, blurring hierarchical boundaries and enhancing internal culture. To align with the CEO’s commitment to sustainability and operational efficiency, all four floors are equipped with underfloor air-conditioning systems — promoting energy savings, better airflow control, and long-term flexibility in spatial planning. The result is a workplace that’s both grounded in hospitality and elevated in connection — driving both performance and engagement.
