Description
In response to Standard Chartered Bank Hong Kong's workplace optimization (OP) and consolidation initiative, the design embraces a forward-thinking, agile concept that redefines space efficiency while fostering a more connected organizational culture. The project introduces a high-sharing ratio hot desking strategy, supporting flexibility and scalability. By consolidating teams and streamlining spatial distribution, the layout maximizes real estate efficiency without compromising user comfort or team identity. At the heart of the restack is the creation of a dedicated hub floor — a central, dynamic space where top management can engage with staff at all levels. This floor functions as a social and collaborative nexus, reinforcing transparency, inclusion, and cross-functional exchange. Informal meeting zones, shared amenities, and strategic wayfinding contribute to a workplace ecosystem designed to inspire innovation and alignment. The overall design reflects Standard Chartered’s future-forward vision: smart, adaptable, and human-centric — supporting both operational goals and cultural transformation.
